I am 18, female, building a skin regime for myself for anti-aging.
I currently use: Mary Kay 3-1 TimeWise Cleanser Once A Day
When I Go Out: PA+++ Spf 55 Moisturizing Sunscreen
That’s all I use on my face, that’s enough?
Some days I just don’t go out at all and my question is, do I still need to moisturize daily even though I’m not going outside? I heard it is important to moisturize daily but my moisturizer has SPF/UVA protection in it and I don’t want to waste it if I’m just staying home.
Feel free to critique my regime, answer my questions, offer tips, anything, thank you! =)
Is “Kiss My Face Olive/Aloe Natural Moisturizer” good for the days I don’t go out or should I find one with SPF in it?
Thanks for all the excellent answers so far, this is helping a lot =)

yes, you must moisturize daily and include SPF, regardless if you are going to be in the sun or not!
you still get sun when you walk from your car into the office or thru windows…. protect yourself and get into a habit. moisturized skin wrinkles less
yes
You should moisturize daily whether or not you are going out. If you are worried about wasting it, try a different moisturizer when you are staying in.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes! If you don’t use a moisturizer, your skin can become dry as a result (sort of like how some people get “ashy” elbows…), if you’re worried about using such a high SPF on the days you evidently don’t go outside, get another moisturizer with a lower SPF.
If you are that much concious about aging factor………..the best is eat one bowl full of cantaloupe daily……and athose days when you will be at home apply a lil mixture of honey and lemon juice……….it will give a natural glow to your face..
Yes you should mosturize daily because sun still gets in your house and I am sure you might end up going outside even if you didnt plan it. I would recommend a more natural moisturizer (with aloe extracts preferably) as it has less chemicals than other moisturizers but mary kay is a good cosmetic line so u should be fine. I woulkd also ask your doctor what he/she may thing you should use as they know a lot about you and how your body works.
Moisturizing as much as possible (even more than once a day) may pay off dearly (in a good way!) in the long run. Regardless of the frequency of your exposure to the Sun, you should still moisturize with even a light SPF sunscreen.
I dislike moisturizing because I don’t enjoy the sensation of feeling sticky, but it really does help me with my many skin problems. Keeping skin and hair moisturized is a very healthy habit.
Yes Absolutely and some studies show that some inside lights especially in office buildings can be just as damaging. You can not avoid the sun so an SPF will not hurt however you need one for night so why don;’t you get one without SPF. You should be washing your face twice daily and moisturizing twice daily.
Hydrating the skin is one of the most important parts of a skin care regime especially when it comes to anti aging what is the difference between a raisin and a grape – water grapes loose water and shrivel up as does the skin.
