I’ve posted something like this before in the past..but I’ve decided to get more specific with the products I’m using just to make sure I can prevent aging in my facial skin.I also want to purchase a facial serum from AVON and I want to know how I can use it in my daily regimen.
So..I love my skin..in fact..I’m a little obsessed with it’s clarity and trying to maintain youthfulness. here’s what I do in the AM and PM. I wear makeup, sunscreen and I exfoliate once a week.
AM
wash with Clinique Liquid Facial Soap skin type 3
rinse with cold water
apply a mix of Clinique City Block Sheer Skin protectant SPF40 along with a bit of Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
apply make-up ( maybe if I have time)
PM
wash with Clinique Liquid Facial Soap skin type 3
rinse with cold water
tone with Clinique Claryfying Lotion
apply ONE ( just one of these not all) of the following depending on the week or skin concern I’ve noticed…as well as the current weather)
( Clinique Anti-Oxidant Moisturizer, Dramatically Diff. Gel with Olive Oil added, Clinique Turnaround Concentrate)
since I have all these products I shouldn’t let them go to waste right?
I’m also going to buy Avons Liiv Botanicals Vitalizing Serum..since a friend told me that a serum would work better for me and since it’s natural..I wont have any harsh chemicals going on my face.
- I use a mask once a week
-I exfoliate once a week
Im trying to develop a skincare routine and my skin is very oily in some spots and dry around my nose etc. I also break out pretty easily Neutrogena and Clinique usually break me out like no other. I need a good cleanser and a good moisturizer, things like that. I heard Cetaphil is good but IDK. I also need a good eye cream because Im 24 and I want to start using anti aging stuff. Id like to try out some drugstore products to see if they work for me before paying more for the high end stuff. Suggestions anyone?
…luxury men’s grooming products and colognes? i figure since there’s one for luxury men’s suits and watches, then there should be one for grooming too. right?
and to clarify – then i say ‘grooming’ i mean skincare, like cleansers, moisturizers, anti-aging solutions, etc.
Now that I have turned 30 (+1) I would like to know what is best for anti-aging. I read a variety of sources some people swear by products by la prarie, roc, olay, clinique, bliss. However, I have tried many of these brands and not seen a noticeable difference.
There are others though, who say it is best to put pure oil on the skin, especially coconut oil or vitamin e. And Burt’s bees products too, even though they are not “raw” they have a LOT less chemicals than the above mentioned brands.
So what I want to know is, BESIDES proper diet, excersice, and drinking enough water, what is best to keep your skin looking young? The expensive (or not so expensive depending on the brand) chemicals, including amino acids and peptides and retin, or natual oils and perhaps a more natural brand like burts bees?
There is a world of informaiton out there, i am willing to spend money to look good, but i dont know if its all hype. Ladies 30+ who look younger than their age, what do you use? Also can you please list your race as darker women and asian women tend to age better? Thank you!!!
Hi,
I am a 28 year old female with oil skin that sometimes breaks out but I need a good skincare line that also works for wrinkles but something cheap that I can afford because I don’t have a lot of money right now. Is there some products I can get from the store that will work good but still cheap. If anyone knows of any, I need everything, lol, the cleansers, anti aging cream and also if anyone knows a good foundation that will be good for my skin but look natural and cover good. Thank you all so much for any help you have!
I am 22 yrs old is it too early for me to use Shiseido The Skincare “New”
Anti-early ageing for all skin types. aged 25 – 35…. even when I didnt reach 25 yrs… can i USED IT NOW? and are there people that are in their 20s and are already using anti ageing products…and does shisheido really really help … and is it true that if u used early anti ageing products.. that u will have less wrinkles in the future?
I went to a dem tonight and had a facial…and I have to say I love the Timeswise products. Anyone has had good results with this skincare? I’m 29 yrs old and I used to use the basic skincare, but now am looking for an anti-aging skincare line that really works…and does not irritate my skin at all. I tend to breakout also, so should I purchase the oil-combo line? Please advise….thanks!!:))
If you had a 3 ladies in your neighborhood whom each sold one of the following- which would you be more inclined to buy from. Feel free to offer why too, thanks!!
Mary Kay offers make up (and they have come a long way with their look, no longer limited to pepto pink) as well as a noted skin care line and popular fragrance…

Of course AVON offers the same type of products as Mary Kay, however I believe they are the ones that have the commercial claiming that their anti aging product “beat the $700 cream”…

I do not know much about Arbonne other than it seems to be sold to women with money- they have good quality skin care and products including aromatherapy…

I am turning 30 next month and reality is starting to sink in. I will be getting wrinkles SOON! I have been horrible in the past about using moisturizer, sunscreen, etc., and I already have slight squint lines on my forehead and around the corners of my eyes.
I would like to start using a skin care regimen. I have sensitive skin. What is the best product without the high price?
I’m not looking to spend $30 or more a month on skincare, ouch!
Thanks =]
